Tree Prep

Fresh is best! Our u-cut and fresh cut trees last all season long. Our crew will give your tree a fresh cut before loading to ensure it can absorb the water in your stand. If you don’t plan to setup your tree right away, we recommend placing it in water and keeping it somewhere cold like your garage. If you’re not able to get the tree in some water, we recommend another fresh cut, at least 1/2 an inch, before set up.

Tree Set Up

Use a sturdy tree stand that holds plenty of water. Make sure that your tree is away from heat sources such as fireplaces, heat vents, or direct sunlight.

Water!

Plain, fresh water is best. Check your water level daily - trees are thirsty! A Christmas tree can drink a lot - sometimes a quart per day. Be sure that the trunk of your tree is always under water. A well watered tree will hold it’s needles best.

Check lights for frayed wires or broken bulbs before decorating. Turn off tree lights when you leave the house or go to bed. Safety first, Santa second!
